Windows 7 Ultimate

Currently writing this blog on the final version of Windows 7 Ultimate. Source? *cough cough*  =P It’s not much different from the RC from what i can observe, the main difference is the availability of several cool themes on Microsoft’s website.

7 is very much faster compared to Vista. Even after i’ve loaded it with my usual array of software. Thumbs up to Microsoft.

However things get a bit sluggish when I access flash heavy sites e.g. Happy Farm.. Maybe it’s Chrome’s fault but it isnt sluggish enough to be unacceptable.

Love the new taskbar. Less clutter.

Probably gonna stick with it a bit longer. =)

oh and uhm.. End-posting exam is on 27th Oct. Like very fast the first posting will be over soon. After that I’ll have like 3 weeks of break from super bumpy rides to Karkala.. thank goodness. need some time to allow my spinal column to recover from the daily traumas.

I’ve completed like 2 weeks of posting. Basically the entire experience is interesting, cause it’s the first time I’ve had direct contact with the patients. The hands-on experience is definitely helpful. But the biggest barrier i suppose would be communication.. So we’d have to pick up some Kannada, else we’d be really zuo-bai-ing everytime we’re posted at the wards. Urgh.

oh, and i witnessed like 2 deliveries yesterday. It was fast, uncomplicated “express delivery”. Faster than your FedEx or or DHL. seriously. One was a baby boy, the other a girl. And i think instead of the delivery, the part where the episiotomy was sutured back looks like it’s more painful for the mother. =S
