So i decide to play around with my camera. =P

Theme.. hmm.. Looking at the skies through a cage? haha i’m out of ideas for more interesting titles. lol

The “Auto” at ISO 800 – looks brighter than it really is.. hmmm

ISO 80 – Looks REALLY gloomy.. not that dark yet. Shutter (timing? something i dunno the name) was at 1sec.

ISO 400 – A bit more natural, but still brighter than it is..

and of course, there’s

both at ISO 800. haha

 

ok i admit this is one boring post. But perhaps it highlights what my mood is today. Gloomy.

Miserable life

i guess i should update everyone on what i have been up to lately. One picture summarizes it all :

studying till late in the nights, even when it is raining heavily outside..

That is like the saddest thing that can happen to a person.

Block 3 of Phase I Stage II.

It’s really (x gazillion times) screwing me up. Big time. There’re like so many things to revise, to remember, in so short a time.

and to make matters worse,

the class notes are NOT dependable. AT ALL. Like, WTF? I could almost swear the lecturers are trying to screw with me. By providing incomplete + incomprehensible notes.

Block 3 = KILLER BLOCK. I’m half dead already.

In chinese 520 sounds like I Love You

so wouldnt it be nice to speak out your love you your special someone on this day,

and doing it at 1.14pm, would be more meaningful.

Why?

1.14pm at in military time format it’s 1314. Which roughly translates to forever/for life

So 5-20-13-14 = I Love You Forever.

Wah.

The irony is, this happens only once a year. Perhaps people should start their relationships at the said moment, and it’ll would be one hell of a romantic anniversary? haha

 

edit: bah cannot wait till 1.14pm baru post. not like i got anyone to dedicate this to anyhow.

Tips : Error 8100030d on MSN

This post is a re-post of a tutorial on how to deal with the annoying error 8100030d when signing in.

Symptons:
Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporary unavailable. Error Code 8100030d,

Causes:
The system clock or date may be set incorrectly.
The Dynamic Link Library (DLL) softpub.dll, may not be registered on the system.
Internet Explorer may be using an invalid proxy server.
Zone Alarm is running.

Solution:
- Double click on the clock in the taskbar and make sure the system clock is set correctly.
- Disable Zone Alarm
- Register softpub.dll using the regsvr32.exe tool.Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type regsvr32 softpub.dll and then click OK.
- Do the same for the following regsvr32 wintrust.dll, regsvr32 initpki.dll, regsvr32 MSXML3.dll.
- Restart Windows Live Messenger.

However the the steps didnt work for me just now. A further read on the 199 comments lead me to one solution by a guy named Matt Caplin

matt caplin said... hi all, after a couple of days without msn working and constant googling, i've found the solution. i'll save the talk for after, here it is: go to regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > software > microsoft > windows live contacts > database one of my accounts wasn't working but the other was, so i deleted the two files that were from the account that wasn't working (one should say shadow at the end of the file name) after deleting those, try signing in. it should work! i read somewhere, maybe on here, that you have to delete the contact info in the microsoft files accessed via my computer. tried that and it didn't work. then i read somewhere else about deleting the policies folder in regedit and i couldn't find that, because the version they were talking about was from like, 2005. sooo add two and two and i came up with the above.

 

I followed his instructions, and voila! I can sign in again! Kudos, man!

i just had a late, late realization today that block 3 exams is just 9 days away!

Urgh.. there’s like so so so many things to revise, and i feel like the block has passed without gaining much real knowledge.. things just wont stay in!

I miss the stress free days of yesteryears..

I have finally gotten my hands on the working PC version of this game! the last time i played it, I was using a Sony PlayStation, which i borrowed from merlin.. form 3 holiday i remember, after PMR.. and i didnt get to complete the game, only reached Disc 2..

But..

it’s like so damn long la ok.. don’t think i’ll have the time to complete playing it.. especially with block exams coming up soon..

but time surely flies.. Already 8 weeks of block 3 has passed. They say time flies when you’re having fun. But i dont recall having much fun during block 3. hmm.. then where did the time go??
