Malaysia’s 54th Independence Day! (not going to debate about Malaysia or Malaya’s independence n all)
AND it coincides with the long raya holiday
Apparently this year’s Independence Day celebration is themed as above.. Transformation Success People Peace.. lol weird grammar. But hey, that’s what makes us special! =P
hehehe. like so weird pulak unveiling a new building in campus.
Basically it was just being kepo one day and went to explore around the new block
For those who don’t know what I’m talking about. MMMC has started it’s dental faculty for ~2 years already I guess. And now the first batch is coming back. To accommodate the dental students the management has built a new block of building. And the new block for dental students is nearing completion. It’s really progressing quite fast.. the construction I mean.

It’s pretty cool, the new buildings. Didn’t take photos of the dental polyclinics and wards but it should be quite busy when it’s fully ready and functioning at 100% capacity.
Pah.. commed posting entering the 8th and final week already. Which means my postings for 4th year will be done by the end of the coming week. Which also means that p2s1 exams are coming real soon. The date has finally been decided, to start on 19th Sept. Gosh.. Basically I’ve wasted the whole posting, and not doing the revision that I was supposed to do.. sigh.
Oh and there’s Psychiatry sessionals too. 100 MCQs. =S
Oh crap. It’s august already. Means in less than 2 months, if everything goes well, I should be on my way to Taiwan for my electives already. HMM
Scary. Which in other words show that how near P2S1 exams is! goshhh.. Need to kick into gear to prepare for the exam!!!
For the coming week it’s gonna be challenging.. It’s a short week, Monday being a holiday because of the 1st day of the fasting month..
Challenges:
1. PBL on wednesday to present
2. Methodology on Commed project to present (also on wednesday)
3. Commed block test (guess what, also on wednesday!)
4. Data collection and analysis – MAJOR pain. to be ready by FRIDAY.
Damn. Main problem now with the methodology is that the sample size calculation from last friday is massive. All because we couldn’t extract more info from the table of correlates.. Where’s a real life Professor Charlie EPPES when you need one!!

Obtaining SPSS software is going to be a pain too. 452mb download for a 14-day trial?? granted, there’s 14 days left on the Commed posting allocated to do the research thingy.. and I need it to analyze the results from the questionnaire..
