.. They usually are..
Couple of days back I have won an auction on ebay.in for a brand new Canon EOS 50D Camera, for like Rs 26,000. It’s like REALLY cheap, cos it would normally cost around rm5k back at m’sia, and i get it at a mere RM2k!
If you would go check out the link at dpreview.com by clicking the picture above, you’d see that it’s like quite a new model, 15.1 megapix, Digic 4, 6.3fps continuous shooting, plus the 3.0” LCD has like 940,000 pixels, which would make it very very fine in terms of quality..
But.. as the title of this post says..
“When things seems like they are too good to be true, they usually are”
The seller has gone MIA after the payment is made. Luckily i’m protected under ebay.in’s Paisapay Protection, so i got my Rs 26,000 refund back.
Sigh.
And i thought i could finally step up into the world of DSLR photography. But. turns out it’s only an illusion, and frankly it would be an expensive hobby.. so either another deal like this happens, or i strike Toto or 4d, whichever comes first before I can dabble into this lo.
