Had the 4th year University exam today. First part of it, the OSCE.
Objective Structured Clinical Examination. Clinical. Out of 10 stations there were 4 bloody theory based stations. (Surgery, 2x Medicine, Community Medicine) Even paeds n obg also were mainly theoretical stations.
So.. long story short, it was a bloody mess. Forgot perimetry and ophtalmoscopy for ophthal station. Paeds’ peripheral blood smear was alien to me. 10 points out of the drain. The other 10 was examination of abdo – liver n spleen. Did liver, then bell rang. No spleen. at least 5 gone down the drain. Pffft. But if it’s my own problem with time management still I accept. It’s not! the candidate before me stayed for nearly a minute to finish his examination! GERAM!!!
The rest.. manage to answer, but not complete. Hope can scavenge enough to pass 7 out of 10 stations. Otherwise.. bye bye Taiwan electives.. Bye bye final year… URGH.
Gosh better go back to eating books. The most horrendous 7-days of my life coming up.. Geez
WISH ME LUCK GUYS!
