no not the usual sort of treasure one would expect..
Went to this place at Batu Berendam, Melaka for dinner on the first day of 2012. Saw this place the last time I went to batu berendam. Wanted to try it. then decided to try it on the new year’s day. The place is at the same row as Batu Berendam’s Domino’s Pizza outlet.
Ta-da! A good attempt to re-create Sarawak’s Kolomee! perhaps it’s because I havent eaten one for almost a year but I think they’d made a pretty good attempt at it! Well to be honest the taste is still a bit off, but the noodle is right! It’s also a bit dry-er compared to authentic ones.. real ones are a tad more oily.. but good enough! hehe A bit pricey though, RM5 for a large bowl.. and it isn’t that large to be honest.
Also on the menu was Sarawak Laksa.. It’s only available on wednesdays though.. Looking forward to it! *drools*
